Yesterday, i.e. 12.12. 2022 we produced the first batch on the new autoclave. So far we have managed to achieve a sterilization time about the same as on the original autoclave, but for twice the amount of product. That’s already with the first attempt to double production! With today’s reprogramming we saved about 40 minutes and on Monday we will adjust the program even further to save a total of 60 minutes or more so we can sterilize 3 times per shift. We are currently collecting telemetry data to determine which values in the program need to be adjusted to achieve this goal. The original autoclave is currently shut down as we await the delivery of filling equipment that will allow us to fill both machines twice in one shift. Due to the volume of the new autoclave, the production per brew is still double.
