Although our primary business is the production of canned food, we have one more hot spot in the food industry as the holding ALEMAR Food Group. It is a total novelty. Food grade coffee oil obtained cold from coffee grounds, i.e. logra. It works as an excellent flavouring, e.g. for desserts, ice cream, sweet pastries, but it is also suitable for dark meat. It is made from waste, so it is a recycled raw material and has a high vitamin E content. We have successfully applied to the patent office for this production method, which has been accepted.
